After lunch in idyllic surroundings, continue through the scenic landscape to visit a number of the many castles and manors in Funen, where HCA spent significant amounts of time. We will have dinner and spend the night at Broholm Castle

DAY 4: After Check Out enjoy the Geopark Odsherred (UNESCO) before we continue through the beautiful landscapes to Lerchenborg Manor House. After lunch, we head to Gavnø Slot and Holmegaard Manor House, before we have dinner and overnight at Næsbyholm Slot.
DAY 5: After breakfast and check out a most scenic drive will take us across the tall bridge to Funen, where we will visit the new H.C. Andersen Museum, the HCA House & Childhood Home, and then continue to Broholm Castle for dinner and overnight in a bed worthy of a king.

DAY 7: After breakfast, drive to renowned Egeskov Castle for a morning filled with activities including a visit to the castle antique automobile museum, followed by lunch. Then on to Valdemar’s Slot in romantic Taasinge Island. After lunch we cross the bridge to yet another island, Langeland (Long Land) where we enjoy the surroundings, dinner and overnight at Tranekjær Castle.
DAY 8: After check-out on to charming Svendborg for a walk around the town, after which we continue through the scenic landscape until we reach the idyllic Falsled Inn, where we stop for a Royal lunch. Afterward, we continue to Hindsgavl Castle, where we have dinner with musical performance, and spend the first of two nights.
DAY 9: On this day we visit Graasten Slot close to the German border, which is in use by the Royal Family, then head to the old Danish capital Ribe and its ancient Cathedral, then on to Koldinghus, followed by a visit to Trapholt Museum of Art, before returning to Hindsgavl.
DAY 10: After breakfast, we check out and head to Aarhus, where we visit Marselisborg Palace, the queen’s summer residence, have lunch at a scenic forest restaurant, then explore the interactive exhibits at Moesgaard Museum, followed by a visit to AROS Museum of Art, then have dinner at one of the city’s Michelin Star restaurants, before we spend the last night of the tour at Hotel Royal vis-a-vis Aarhus Cathedral.
DAY 11: Check out and departure from Aarhus Airport.
